Birth: 1963 in Myszyniec, Poland.
Fr. Slawomir Siok attended the school of Engineering and Technology in Ostroleka, Poland for five years. After much discerning, he decided to enter the Major Seminary of the Pallottines and was ordained on May 5th ,1990.
Fr. Siok’s first assignment as a priest was at the Church of the Annunciation in Szymonki, Poland. He was the assistant pastor as well as a religion educator in the public elementary school system.
Fr. Siok was then sent to Edinburgh, Scotland to learn English and to be a Chaplain for the Community of the Brothers of Charity. In 1992, the Pallottine fathers sent Fr. Siok to the United States. Bishop Head D.D., bishop of the Diocese of Buffalo, assigned him to St. Peter’s in Lewiston, NY for six years. His next assignment was to Brooklyn, NY from 1998-2003. His first assignment as a pastor was to two twinned parishes in Niagara Falls, NY Holy Trinity and St. Stanislaus Kostka churches. He remained at that assignment until March 8, 2008, when his two parishes merged with Our Lady of Lebanon, Our Lady of The Rosary and St. George Parishes to form the new Divine Mercy Parish.
On July 1st,2008 Fr. Slawomir Siok moved to St. John de LaSalle in Niagara Falls, NY where he remained the pastor for 14 years.
Beginning October 17,2022 Father Slawek received his new assignment in Columbus, Ohio to be administrator of Saint Mary Magdalene and Saint Aloysius Parishes.
On July 11, 2023, Fr. Slawek begins his official position as Pastor of St. Mary Magdalene Parish.
